The policy applies to the use of the website https://freedomup.co/, to inquiries and correspondence via email and WhatsApp, and to services and products offered as part of the collaboration between FreedomUp LLC (USA) and "Meitarim" (Israel). We operate in accordance with applicable law, including the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 and its regulations (including Amendment 13); the Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasts), 5742-1982, Section 30a (Spam Law); and in accordance with the GDPR regulations of the European Union, insofar as they apply to the processing of information of data subjects from the EEA/UK.
Data Controllers: FreedomUp LLC (USA) and "Meitarim" (Israel), acting as joint controllers for processing carried out within the framework of the collaboration described above. With respect to processing carried out on the freedomup.co website and its associated systems, FreedomUp LLC serves as the primary controller and the primary point of contact for this policy and will coordinate responses with "Meitarim" when necessary.

The services are not intended for minors. In Israel – do not contact or provide information if you are not 18 years of age or older; in the EEA/UK – 16 years of age or older is required, unless parental/guardian consent has been given according to applicable law. We do not knowingly collect information about minors; if we become aware of such collection contrary to policy, we will act to delete it immediately upon receipt of notice.
We may process the following types of information: full name; phone number; email address; payment details (including credit/debit card number as required for clearing through a payment provider); IP address and/or approximate location data; purchase and invoice details; content of inquiries and correspondence (email/WhatsApp); website usage data, device identifiers, browser characteristics and log files; marketing preferences and consents/withdrawal of consent.
Information is collected directly from you through forms and mechanisms on the WordPress-based website (including on the page https://freedomup.co/open-heart2/); through inquiries via email and WhatsApp; during purchase and payment processes; through cookies and similar technologies; and in server logs. Some information may be collected by our service providers (such as a clearing provider) directly from you. As part of the collaboration, information legitimately transferred by the partner responsible for you as a joint controller may be received.
We process information for the purpose of: contacting and providing service to customers and interested parties; performing and completing online transactions and purchases and clearing; generating accounting documents; sending updates, newsletters and marketing content subject to law; analyzing browsing data and improving user experience; information security, fraud detection and prevention; sponsored advertising and measurement. Legal grounds: performance of a contract or taking steps at your request prior to entering into it; our legitimate interest in managing and streamlining our activities, permitted marketing, security and service improvement; consent (including for cookies/marketing where required); compliance with legal obligations (including tax laws, document retention, and responding to authorities).
We will send you marketing/promotional mailings in accordance with the law, including according to Section 30a of the Communications Law and according to GDPR where applicable. The consent mechanism will be activated by checking a box or an approval button, and we will seek to obtain consent where required. You can remove yourself at any time by clicking an unsubscribe link in the mailing or by proactive contact via email to the address above. We will clearly identify the advertiser (FreedomUp LLC and/or "Meitarim" as appropriate), state a contact method, and will not block the use of services due to refusal to receive promotional material.
We use cookies, pixels and similar tracking mechanisms for website operation, security, measurement, analytics, personalization and sponsored advertising. If necessary, we will activate a user-side consent mechanism (checkbox/approval button). Preferences can be managed through the consent interface and through browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may impair the user experience. We may use third-party analytics and advertising tools; such use will be subject to applicable law and your consents.
We will disclose information to service providers acting as processors on our behalf for the proper operation of the services: website infrastructure, hosting and cloud, clearing, invoicing, marketing mailings, SMS messages, automations and integrations, database management and analysis. Disclosure of information will be made on the basis of appropriate agreements (including data processing agreements) and under our instructions. In addition, we will disclose information to authorities according to law, for verification/fraud prevention, or as part of a business transfer/merger subject to appropriate conditions. We do not sell personal information.
Given that FreedomUp LLC operates from the USA and its partner "Meitarim" operates from Israel, international data transfers may occur, including to the USA and other countries where our service providers operate (such as cloud). Transfers will be carried out according to applicable law: in Israel – in accordance with the Privacy Protection Regulations (Transfer of Information Abroad); in the EEA/UK – by virtue of appropriate protection mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) according to the GDPR, together with complementary contractual and technical security measures. We will take reasonable measures to ensure an adequate level of protection.
We will retain information until a removal request or as required by legitimate business need/legal obligation. Generally: transaction data and accounting documents will be retained in accordance with tax and accounting laws (usually up to 7 years or as required by applicable law); marketing data will be retained as long as the marketing engagement continues and until removal; logs and security documentation will be retained for a reasonable operational period. You can request deletion, and we will act in accordance with the law and our applicable retention obligations.
In Israel, you have the right to review information, request correction, and in certain circumstances request deletion. For data subjects from the EEA/UK, rights apply according to the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection (including to direct marketing), data portability, and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise your rights, please contact us via email or phone above and we will respond within the timeframes stipulated by law. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Privacy Protection Authority in Israel or a relevant supervisory authority in the EEA/UK.
We implement reasonable and professional security measures, including: access controls; use of HTTPS across all website interfaces; two-factor authentication (2FA) for supported systems; periodic backups; encryption in transit and at rest where relevant; least privilege permission management; documentation and control; and vendor checks. Payment details are processed through a dedicated clearing provider that complies with accepted security standards (such as PCI DSS). In the event of a material security incident, we will act according to applicable law, including taking mitigation measures, documentation, and notifications to authorities and data subjects as required.
We may use artificial intelligence tools for internal purposes such as drafting assistance, support, inquiry classification, trend analysis and process improvement. Insofar as personal information is used, we will rely on legitimate interest or consent where required, will act to minimize, de-identify and restrict access, and will not use external AI tools in a manner that exposes personal information except subject to appropriate processing agreements, our instructions and applicable law. We do not make decisions that legally or materially affect individuals based solely on automated profiling without human involvement, unless permitted by law and subject to appropriate safeguards.
Regarding shared services: FreedomUp LLC and "Meitarim" act as joint controllers and jointly determine the purposes and means of processing; each may also be a separate controller for processing carried out in its systems. The service providers listed in the appendix act as processors on our behalf and according to our instructions and in accordance with data processing agreements. You can contact FreedomUp LLC's point of contact for any request concerning joint processing, and we will coordinate a response with "Meitarim" as required.
We may update this policy from time to time. Publication on the website will be considered notice of change. Material changes will be prominently noted and will take effect upon publication or at another specified time. Your continued use of the services will constitute agreement to the updated policy, subject to law.
